Portsmouth Mind Wellbeing and Recovery Service have developed a new, socially inclusive service for people who experience significant mental distress that would like to participate more actively within their local community.

Our structured programme is updated monthly following service user feedback and consultation. Group work include Confidence Courses, Emotional Wellbeing workshops, peer run groups, young persons group, women’s group, men’s group, Relaxation and Complimentary Therapy workshops and more! All structured courses and workshops will be facilitated from our new premises at 311 Arundel Street.

Portsmouth Mind offers a variety of open access services based at Fratton Community Centre. Our Community ‘mood food’ café is open 2 days a week.

The focus is on healthy food at affordable prices with regular practical sessions facilitated such ‘Healthy eating on a budget’. Other activities include healthy walks, sport and gym sessions and peer led activities such as Sunday lunch group.
